Frequently Asked Questions
Does this use my school's exact grading scale?
It defaults to the common unweighted 4.0 scale (A=4.0 through F=0). If your institution uses a different scale — 4.3, 5.0, percentages, etc. — choose "Custom points" and enter your own grade point value per course.
What's the difference between GPA and CGPA here?
The formula is identical — GPA typically covers one term's courses, while CGPA covers your full academic history. Enter whichever set of courses matches what you want to calculate.
