Protect PDF with a Password
Password protection isn't available yet — here's why, and what to use instead.
APKWorld's client-side PDF library doesn't support adding real password encryption to a PDF, so this tool can't offer that feature in a way that would actually protect your file. Rather than fake it with something that looks like protection but isn't, this page explains the limitation directly.
Your files and text are processed locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't APKWorld add a password to my PDF?
Reliable PDF encryption requires cryptographic features that the lightweight client-side library used on this site doesn't implement, and APKWorld won't ship a tool that only looks like it works.
What should I use instead?
Most PDF readers, including free desktop options, include a genuine password-protection export feature.
